The Shelf is a Spanish-language streaming services featuring movies and tv series, operas, ballets and theater plays, and kids content. 

  • Follow these simple steps to start enjoying The Shelf with your active library card:

  1. Click Create New Account on the Login page.

  2. Enter your e-mail address and create a password.

  3. Choose your country from the drop-down menu and then your library.

  4. Enter your library card number, your last name, and first name.

  5. Last, agree with terms and conditions.

  • To download The Shelf app, search "The Shelf TV" in your device's app store.
  • After your information is verified, you will receive an email stating that your account is active. You can now access theshelf.tv 
  • You must select your library and use the password you just created each time you log in.
  • Tickets are required to view the movies and performing arts content. You will receive 5 tickets per week.
  • All of the other content on the platform in unlimited, including television shows and kids materials.

The Shelf es un servicio de streaming que ofrece entretenimiento multimedia en español de uso exclusivo para usuarios de bibliotecas públicas que tengan una tarjeta activa.

  • Empieza a disfrutar The Shelf con tu tarjeta de la biblioteca. Solo tienes que seguir estos sencillos pasos:

  1. En el apartado Login, haz clic en Crear Cuenta Nueva.

  2. Introduce tu e-mail y crea una contraseña.

  3. Elige tu país de la lista y seguidamente tu biblioteca.

  4. Introduce el número de tu tarjeta de la biblioteca, tu apellido y nombre.

  5. Por último, acepta los términos y condiciones.

  • Una vez comprobados los datos, recibirás un correo informándote de que tu cuenta ha sido activada. ¡Ya puedes acceder a theshelf.tv! 
  • Recuerda que tienes que elegir tu biblioteca cada vez que inicies sesión.
  • Para reproducir los contenidos de las secciones Cine y Artes Escénicas tendrás que emplear tickets. Al registrarte, tu biblioteca te proporcionará, sin costo alguno,  5 tickets por semana que podrás emplear para reproducir los contenidos que lo requieran. 
  • Podrás reproducir todos los demás contenidos de la plataforma de forma ilimitada.
