Ways to volunteer:
- Friends of the Library: The Friends of the Bernards Township Library is a non-profit organization made up of volunteers dedicated to supporting and promoting the Library. They are always looking for talented volunteers to help us provide the library with an even greater level of support. Currently, they are especially looking for volunteers with the following skills:
- Computer/Web Design/Technical
- Public Relations/Marketing
- Event Planning
- Interlibrary Loan Department: Assist with the packing and unpacking books. For more information, please contact the Reference staff at firstname.lastname@example.org or 908-204-3031 ext. 4.

Who can volunteer?
Children’s Library: Students in grades 7-12. Volunteers will help out with Children's programs and/or different "Behind the Scenes" tasks like helping with the book drop.
Library Helpers: Students in grades 7-12. Must be available weekdays from 3-5pm. Library Helper volunteers will help out with different opportunities in the Teen and Adult Libraries, the individual tasks will vary depending on need.
Tech Teens: Please review the Tech Teen requirements. Tech Teens must be in grades 9-12. Must be available Tuesdays through Thursdays from 3-5pm, and/or Saturdays from 12-2pm.
