All volunteering opportunities at the Bernards Township Library are full. We will not be accepting volunteering applications until April 2020.

If you are a Ridge High School sophmore looking for volunteering opportunities to complete your required volunteer service, please click here for approved organizations. 

The Teen Advisory Board -TAB meetings count as volunteer hours and also gives teens the opportunity to voice their opinions about purchases and programming for the Library. There is no sign up required to attend TAB meetings, and they happen every second Wednesday and fourth  Thursday of the month at 7pm in the Teen Space. The upcoming meetings are Wednesday, December 11; Thursday, December 26; Wednesday, January 8; and Thursday, January 23. 

Who can volunteer?

Children’s Library: Students in grades 7-12. Volunteers will help out with Children's programs and/or different "Behind the Scenes" tasks like emptying the book drop. 

Library Helpers: Students in grades 7-12. Must be available weekdays from 3-5pm. Library Helper volunteers will help out with different opportunities in the Teen and Adult Libraries, the individual tasks will vary depending on need. 

Tech Teens: Please review the Tech Teen requirements. Tech Teens must be in grades 9-12. Must be available Tuesdays, Wednesdays and/or Thursdays from 3-5pm, and/or Saturdays from 12-2pm.
