The Friends of the Bernards Township Library
The Friends of the Bernards Township Library is a non-profit organization made up of volunteers dedicated to supporting and promoting the Library.
Thanks to support of donors like you, The Friends of the Bernards Township LIbrary have helped make our Library a special place for all who visit. Your donations have allowed us to provide new and exciting programs for adults, teens, and children, as well as cutting-edge technology and important resources including:
- Hundreds of hardcover books, CDs, DVDs, and audio books
- The ever-popular children's summer reading program
- Adult programs focusing on film, art, opera, and stimulating lectures
- An array of music, theater, education and craft programs for children and teens
- Presentation technology to help educate and enhance the lives of our patrons
In 2019 we continue to support video content, through hoopla and kanopy. Instantly borrow digital movies, music, eBooks, eAudiobooks and more, 24/7 with your library card and a smart device.

Generous annual financial support from the community allows the Friends of the Library to provide an exceptional library experience. Your contribution helps us offer innovative programs, events, and activities for all ages and interests. You ensure that the Library remains an important center of culture, enlightenment, and development in the community.
You can increase the effectiveness of your gift if your employer has a matching gifts program. Simply follow your company procedures -- usually a simple form or a quick call is all that is required. If you donate through the United Way, then you can direct your United Way of Tri-State contribution to the Friends. Our code is 011826.
The Friends of Bernards Township Library, Inc. is registered as a 501 (c) (3) organization by the Internal Revenue Service. Gifts to the Friends are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
