Leisure Learning
Brochures and registration forms for Bernards Tonwship Library’s Spring 2012 Leisure Learning semester will be available at the beginning of February.
This continuing education program offers adults 60 and older eight Mondays of morning lectures in art, music, literature, history, politics, and current affairs, as well as eight afternoon musical performances. The spring 2012 semester will begin on Monday March 19 and run through Monday May 7. **In the event of inclement weather, please call 908-204-3031 or visit the library website to learn of any possible closings or delays. If there is no special dated message about weather or closing on the outgoing recording or website's main page by 7:30 a.m. the library will be open and the programs will be hosted as planned.**
Registration and Fees
For a single fee of $25 for Bernards Township residents and $75 for non-residents from communities where libraries have a reciprocal agreement with Bernards Township Library. Registrants can attend three of the many program choices offered each Monday for the entire eight week semester. Please note the increased registration fee for non-residents. Due to over-subscription, the Bernards Township Library is giving priority registration to township residents and members of libraries that have reciprocal borrowing agreements with the Bernards Township Library. Regretfully, new non-residents will not be able to be admitted to Leisure Learning this semester. Non-residents who wish to be notified of Leisure Learning in the future must call 908-204-3031 ext. 6 and speak to the Program Coordinator to be placed on a waiting list.
